Hi, Joan!

My name is Emily Bronaugh, and I recently came across Side Hustle Hero while searching for insights on feminine business, and I was instantly drawn to your episode, From Burnout to Balance. Your perspective on sustainable success really resonated with me because my clients are currently in a position of questioning if they can continue because they're working unsustainably. I love how you keep the focus on your personal values, and it’s for these reasons that I'm reaching out!

If you’re currently booking guests, I’d love to share a fresh angle on scaling a business with your audience. As someone who has navigated the challenges of being a military spouse, a mother, and an entrepreneur, I’ve developed a unique perspective on balancing ambition with life’s demands. That’s what led me to create Worth of Work, my consulting firm helping women gain confidence and time to hire so they can actually create the more fulfilling lifestyle and time freedom they've been craving.

Many course creators and entrepreneurs get stuck in a cycle of thinking working more or working differently will eventually lead to more money and, thus, more time freedom. I specialize in helping them break free from that cycle by building a team they trust, so they can reclaim their time, support their family, and make the impact they started their business for in the first place.

Below are some ideas of talking points that I feel would be valuable to your audience, specifically (I always make sure to share actual tools that work!):

What it means to L.E.A.D. At Worth of Work, LEADing means to: Listen actively to coach the team, Enlist the best minds to innovate, Allows autonomy to build up confidence, and Delegates to remain in their zone of genius as the visionary. This is a modern view on leadership, and I would love to support your audience in rewiring their understanding of the expectations that are placed on leaders. It's not as authoritarian as maybe they once thought :) My focus is on how leadership impacts the team's experience rather than the CEO's which is upside down to most. When you look at LEADing from this place, it's much easier to wrap your head around doing this before you're ready and from a place of joy.

Delegating. If your audience is like me (which I'm convinced they are), they often put themselves in situations where they say yes to too many things, and want to do all of them with PERFECTION. Learning how to delegate... in a way that feels like a deep exhale for ourselves and whomever we're delegating to, is a superpower that I try to teach to anyone who will listen, inside and outside of business.

Anxieties That Come With Team Building. I've noticed working with so many female entrepreneurs is, even after they've had financial success, hiring feels overwhelming, scary, or that they'll be a hypocrite if they turn around and become a boss themselves. So growing requires a reframe of what it means to build a team.

If I’m someone you would be interested in having on your podcast, I’d love to connect with you. Would you be interested in scheduling a 15-minute call to discuss if this would be a good fit for your audience? If not, I’ll continue listening, subscribing, and cheering you on from afar!
